Amanda Lang Holdings exists because of a story much older than the company itself —
the journey of a family, and of a people, from Africa to America, and from survival
to building something that can be handed down.
The Journey
From Africa, to the plantations of Georgia, to generational wealth.
We are tracing our family tree — learning where our people began, what was taken
from them, and how, generation after generation, they endured, rebuilt, and rose.
This company is where that story lands: grit converted into ownership.

1
Roots in Africa
Our story begins on the African continent — in the cultures, families, and
communities our ancestors were taken from. Recovering those roots is the first
work of our family history, and we are pursuing it deliberately.
-
2
Enslaved in Georgia — stolen, but not broken
Our ancestors were carried from Africa into slavery in America and put to
work on the plantations of Georgia. We name that honestly: slavery is part of
this family's story. What defines us is not only what was done to them, but
what they did with it — they survived, they kept family together against every
odd, and they built lives out of nothing.

3
Freedom, and the work of building
Generation by generation — through emancipation, migration, and every era
since — this family worked, saved, raised children, and reached for more than
survival. Resilience and grit are not slogans for us; they are the documented
pattern of our line.

A family across America
Today our family lives in cities across the United States. Amanda Lang
Holdings is deliberately built for that reality — one family house, with
members everywhere, holding what we build together in a single structure.

Generational wealth, on purpose
Generational wealth is the answer this generation gives to all the ones
before it: businesses owned outright, held by a family company, with separate
accounts, clean records, and a structure designed to outlive any one of us —
so the next generation starts from ownership, not from zero.
Our genealogical research is ongoing. As we document names, places, and records,
this story will be told here in fuller detail — in honor of the ancestors who made
it possible.
